Paroxysmal repetitive tachycardia

Diagnosis?

Accessory Tachycardia (TMC)

Correct answer: 4. Nodal reentry with VA block

Atrial Flutter with 2:1 Block

Correct answer: 4. Nodal reentry with VA block

Atrial tachycardia

Correct answer: 4. Nodal reentry with VA block

Nodal reentry with VA block

The ECG demonstrates a narrow complex tachycardia, with regular RR, where P waves are identified after the QRS, the RP is shorter than the PR with a duration <90 ms, which suggests a tachycardia due to re-entry of the AV node. In addition, there are QRS complexes where it is not possible to identify the P wave that follows. In these episodes, VA (ventricular-atrial) block can be identified, where the depolarization of the atria (P waves) is not identified due to lack of retrograde conduction of the impulse through the AV node (blue arrows show retrograde P waves, red crosses, the absence of retrograde P waves, demonstrating VA block: two conducting retrograde and the third is blocked).

Coumel type tachycardia
